    The Unsheltered Homelessness: About 30% of the homeless population was unsheltered, living on the streets, in cars, or in other places not meant for habitation.

  • Families with Children: Families with children accounted for roughly 29% of the homeless population, highlighting the significant impact of homelessness on vulnerable groups.

  • Chronic Homelessness: Approximately 25% of individuals experiencing homelessness were chronically homeless, meaning they had been homeless for an extended period (over a year) or repeatedly while also dealing with a disabling condition.

  • Total Homeless Population: On a single night in January 2023, approximately 580,000 people were experiencing homelessness in the United States, according to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

We Help individuals experiencing homelessness, particularly our veterans suffering with mental illness, to acquire a combination of compassion, advocacy, and practical support.
